Fried sweet potato tots are EASY, flavorful, and kid-friendly! This healthy sweet potato tater tots recipe needs 7 ingredients and is ready in 20 minutes.
To cook the sweet potatoes, peel them, cut into cubes, and boil 12 minutes, until just tender.
Drain the potatoes and place in a bowl with the flours and seasonings. Combine with your fingers and form into tots.
Heat 1/2 cup coconut oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the tots 1 minute per side until golden and crispy.
Whisk together the mayo, chipotle pepper, and ranch seasoning. Serve with the tots.
Serving size: 1/2 cup, or about 1/6 of the entire recipe
*Nutrition info only includes 2 tablespoons coconut oil, because most of it gets left behind in the pan. The sauce is also not included in nutrition info because it depends how much you use.
Nutrition facts are provided as a courtesy, sourced from the USDA Food Database. Net carb count excludes both fiber and sugar alcohols (though the latter are rarely seen on this site), because these do not affect blood sugar in most people.
