Learn how to make plantain chips in 25 minutes! This homemade baked plantain chips recipe is quick and EASY. Whole30 plantain chips make a healthy snack for everyone!
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
Using a sharp knife or mandolin, slice the plantain thinly (approximately 1/8 inch per slice).
Place the sliced plantains in a large bowl and drizzle with oil. Use your hands or a spatula to thoroughly coat the plantains in the oil.
Lay out the plantain slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with sea salt.
Bake for approximately 15 minutes, until golden brown at the edges.
Remove from the oven and cool completely to crisp up more.
Serving size: 1/2 cup, or 1/4 of entire recipe
