You'll find so many ways to use this paleo pie crust recipe with simple, natural ingredients! Fill this almond flour pie crust with sweet or savory fillings.
Mix together all of the dry ingredients for the crust.
Grate in the frozen ghee and mix into the dry ingredients with hands, until it is crumbly.
In a stand mixer fitted with the dough attachment (or by hand), mix in the egg, vinegar, and vanilla, until a dough forms.
Form into a ball and refrigerate 30-60 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (176 degrees C).
Roll out the dough between two pieces of parchment paper large enough to cover a 9" pie plate.
Carefully transfer the crust into the dish by lifting it up with the parchment and gently flipping it into the pan. It may help to tilt the pan up at the same time. If there are any cracks simply squeeze it back together with your hands.
Trim off the crust that's hanging over the edges and set aside for a different use.
