Pour balsamic into a medium saucepan on the stove.
Bring vinegar to a boil. Once boiling, turn down heat and simmer vinegar for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it reaches desired thickness. You should end up with about 3/4 cup.
Transfer balsamic vinegar reduction to a separate container and enjoy.
