This Cinnamon Turmeric Iced Tea is a nutrient dense thirst quencher!
I’m a sucker for an iced tea, especially in the hot summer months!
My typical iced tea usually consists of an unsweetened tea, herbal or black and maybe stir in a bit of raw honey.
When I’m feeling fancy I’ll whip up a large pitcher of this Cinnamon Turmeric Iced Tea. Typically, I use rooibos since it’s a personal favorite but black tea also works great here. With just a bit of raw honey it’s sweet but not cooingly so.
TOP TIP:
The key to getting the spices to mix well with the tea is to boil one cup of the tea with the honey and spices until combined then add it to the remaining tea.
Pour over ice and maybe add a wedge of tart lemon for good measure and you’ve got one refreshing drink.

I will try this. Adding both cinnamon and turmeric to my routine. I am prediabetic so cinnamon is really helping and the turmeric will help my arthritis. Which I have in my lower back and left hip/ knee.
Do you think this would keep in the fridge for several days if I make a gallon??
Thank you for a great recipe
Lauren
