If you are new to the Whole30 program, it's basically a 30-day "reset" that omits grains, legumes, dairy, sugar, sweeteners, and alcohol. As you can see, there is a lot of overlap between paleo and Whole30 recipes (grains, legumes and dairy are already excluded on paleo!), but the latter rules are more strict. The Whole30 also prohibits junk foods made with paleo ingredients, because the idea is to stop craving them (even if you made them using healthier options).
